Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Multi Welder with skills in both Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in oil, gas, and chemical plants, particularly with piping and vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding:
- Perform welding tasks on carbon steel and stainless steel using GTAW (3.0 mm) and SMAW (15.26 mm).
- Ensure high-quality welds by following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Maintenance and Inspection:
- Conduct inspections of welded joints and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in all welding operations.
- Report and address any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Welding Techniques:
- Proficiency in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) for 3.0 mm materials.
- Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) for 15.26 mm materials.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in welding within oil, gas, and chemical plants, with a focus on piping and vessels.
- Additional Requirements:
- Gulf return experience is preferred.
